Wally Saad has over 12 years of oil and gas experience and joined the Trellis team in March 2026 where he will be responsible for the team’s underwriting process and reservoir management of Trellis’ existing funds.

Prior to Trellis, Wally served as the Reservoir Engineering Manager at UpCurve Energy, where he led reservoir engineering efforts, including development planning, reserves evaluation, and technical underwriting support for acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to UpCurve, Wally served in multiple reservoir engineering roles at ConocoPhillips, earning successive promotions while supporting development planning and asset optimization across multiple basins in the company’s portfolio.

Wally holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
