Caleb Ring has over 14 years of oil and gas experience and joined the Split Rock team in 2019. His contributions are critical to the team’s underwriting process as Caleb communicates with operators about the timing and design of their development plans.

Before joining SRR, Caleb lead the Non-Operated team at PDC Energy in Denver, CO where he focused on enhancing ownership of non-operated assets. Building operator to operator relationships was one of his most fruitful efforts during his tenure with PDC. Prior to PDC,

Caleb served as a Region Manager at Superior Drilling Products in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Before SDP, Caleb was employed by Noble Energy in Denver, CO. There he organized efforts from management, land, reservoir, accounting, operations and field staffs in the Prospect Development group. Caleb also worked completions on the Well Engineering Team. Caleb began his oilfield career with Baker Hughes in Denver, CO serving multiple basin focused on drilling optimization.

Caleb has a BS in Civil Engineering and a MS in Engineering & Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.
